build the quiet way
to accept crypto
we're a small team. that means real ownership of what you ship, real conversations with the people using your code, and no theater. if that sounds like the right size of company, read on.
what we value
- restraint — three lines is better than a premature abstraction. small prs, small features, real users in the loop.
- self-hosted thinking — every line of code has to make sense for an operator running it on their own infra. no hidden services, no opaque dependencies.
- quiet by default — no marketing speak. the product is good or it isn't.
- full transparency on what's broken — incidents are written up honestly. nothing gets swept.
open roles
we're hiring for these, in order of urgency:
senior backend engineer (python / fastapi)
own the api surface, the worker, and the coin daemon integration layer. you've shipped production python before, you know what async means, and you have opinions on sqlalchemy.
plugin ecosystem lead
the plugin system is mature; the marketplace is not. you'd own publisher onboarding, the trust store, and the first 50 plugins shipped by external authors. equal parts engineering and developer-relations.
frontend engineer (vanilla js + supabase)
the admin and checkout are written without a framework. you keep them that way, ship the next pile of features, and make sure the design tokens stay coherent.
solutions engineer (americas timezone)
customer-facing. you write the integration with the merchant's stack, you sit on the call, you ship the first sprint of pluggable adapters. coding required.
how to apply
email [email protected] with:
- a link to code you've written that you're proud of
- two paragraphs on a hard problem you solved recently and how
- (no cover letter, no buzzwords, no "i'm passionate about")
we'll reply within 5 business days. if we're a fit, the process is one technical screen, one pairing session, one team conversation. no leetcode, no take-homes longer than 90 minutes.
working here
- remote-first — anywhere with stable internet, overlapping 4 hours with central european time
- flexible hours — async by default, two short syncs a week
